Death of Retired NRPS Civilian Member – Patricia Ann “Patty” Landry (Hubbard)

LANDRY, Patricia Ann “Patty” (nee Hubbard) 1953-2024 It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Landry on July 14, 2024 after a short, private battle with cancer.

Beloved mother of Michael Landry (Anna) and Matthew Landry. Dear sister of Mary Lou Chamberlain, Diane Hubbard and Joan Boyle (Cess). Sister-in-law to Yvan Landry (Rachel), Rene Landry (Suzanne), Andy Landry (Sylvia), Patricia Landry and Pauline Landry. She will be missed by her dear friend, Janice Pay (Douglas), nieces and nephews; Liam Boyle (Becky), Patrick Boyle (Stacey), David Chamberlain (Kelly), Deborah Blair (Perry), Leo Landry (Marie), Jordan Landry (Emma), Natalie Landry, Aaron Landry, Annette Oakes (Dave), Tamara Maiuri (Eli), Angele MacTavish (Bill) and great nieces and nephews; Maura Blair (Trevor), Max Blair, Maddison Chamberlain, Grace Chamberlain (Josh), Hudson, Lennon, Leighton, Charlotte, Oliver, Quinn and William. Patty is predeceased by her husband Marcel Landry, loving parents George and Margaret Hubbard and brother-in-law Michael Chamberlain.

Patty devoted much of her time to volunteer with St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church – Out of the Cold program, Meals on Wheels and was involved in Dog Therapy visits at Hotel Dieu Shaver with ‘Conan’. She enjoyed playing piano, gardening at her sister’s and children’s homes where she would enjoy “playing in the dirt”, studying her family tree and genealogy. Patty was devoted to her family and was quick to offer help babysitting, dog sitting or anything she could do to help at a moment’s notice.

In honouring Patricia’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, July 26th, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church in St. Catharines, with interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. A private Celebration of Life will take place afterwards.

Memorial donations to The Humane Society of Greater Niagara (formerly Lincoln County Humane Society) or Redemption Paws Dog Rescue would be appreciated.
