Information received through TPPA, Dennis Ewaniuk, regarding the OMERS Pension increase based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for 2018. Our thanks to Dennis for sharing.

“OMERS announced that pensions will increase by 1.49% as of January 1, 2018.”
This increase reflects the change in the cost of living as measured by the Canadian Consumer Price Index (CPI).
OMERS inflation protection increases retirement, disability and survivor pensions each year.
In late December 2017, OMERS will send an Annual Statement of Pension to retired members and survivors, with their updated pension amount for 2018.
Most members whose pensions began in 2017 will receive a pro-rated increase.

SMITH, SUSAN MARIE (nee Hodson). The family of Susan Smith announce her departure safe into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday October 3rd, 2017 at the age of 57. Mom passed into heaven peacefully surrounded by her three children Christopher, Stephanie, and Wesley.
