MELLEN, Joseph Darryl Jr. – Suddenly on Friday, August 8, 2014 in his 34th year. Loving father of Nolan and Kaya Mellen. Beloved son of Joe Sr. and Carole Mellen. Dear brother of Michelle Mellen. Grandson of Ruth and Dennis McDonald and the late Joseph Roy Mellen and the late Geraldine Taylor. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME AND CEMETERY (2250 Hwy 20 at Merrittville Hwy, with entrance off Merrittville Hwy 905-892-1699) on Tuesday, August 12th, 2014 from 1-4 pm and 6-9 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Joe’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Faith Welland (380 South Pelham Rd, Welland) at 11 am. Interment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
