CISZEK, Fred Joseph – Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at St. Catharines General Hospital on Wednesday March 11, 2015 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of 62 years to Irene (Bogdanowicz) Ciszek. Dearly loved father of Fred Jr. (Leslie) Ciszek, Richard (Linda) Ciszek and Lori Ciszek (Vince Fortuna). Cherished Dziadzi of Greg (Jen) Ciszek, Carissa Ciszek (Dave Bartlett), Krystal Warkentin (Brandon Earle), Keeley (Gethan) Rogers, Kyla (Jesse) Krawczyk, Brittney Ciszek and Nicole Ciszek and Great-Dziadzi of Hunter, Peyton and Mackinley. Honourary Dziadzi to many. Mr. Ciszek had a long, distinguished career as an Inspector with the Niagara Regional Police Service, retiring after 37 years of service.
Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be celebrated at 8:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Scapular Church.
