ELLIOTT, Dalton Cyril Lloyd – It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Dalton on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 71. Loving father of Lloyd Elliott (Dianne) and Mary Boshnick (Frank). Cherished grandfather of Amber Boshnick (Ryan) and Andrew Boshnick (Michelle). Dear brother of Garnet Elliott (Debbie), Gordon Elliott, LelaMay Meredith (Bill), MaryLou Burgman (Brian), Dale Bagnulo (Vince), Glen Elliott (Cindy) and Howard Elliott. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by his parents Lorne and Glendyne Elliott and a nephew Derek Meredith. Dalton served with the Royal Canadian Air Force and retired from the Niagara Regional Police in 1994 after 23 years of service. He started the Niagara Regional Police Pipes & Drums Band, also raised money for various charities in Niagara through his love of music. The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME , 5917 Main St. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., with the service to take place at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.
