For those of you that are considering getting the Shingles Vaccine please see the following message from Mike Kelly for Sun Life.

The Board of Directors would like to thank Sun Life and Mike Kelly for arranging this consideration and opportunity.

An exception has been made for the coverage of the shingles vaccine, such as Zostervax, for a limited period of one year. Shingles vaccines charged from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016 will be reimbursed based on the drug benefit provisions in the PPAO plan (subject to 80% coinsurance and the annual drug maximum). No other vaccines will be covered. 

Effective January 1, 2017, coverage for shingles vaccine will be terminated.
