Davidson, Brian Michael ‘Pencil’ (CWO Ret.)
Unexpectedly, on Wednesday, January 4th, 2017 at the Hamilton General Hospital in his 64th year. Devoted son of Ernie and Audrey Davidson. Loving father of Chad (Samantha), Melissa (Joe) Isherwood, Joshua and Matthew. Loved grandfather of Connor, Morgan Isherwood and Kyle. Survived by sister Linda Rose (Peter). Uncle of Brenda, Billy and Craig. Will be deeply missed by friend and partner Sharon Mounce. Brian will be sadly missed by many family and friends. He was a member of the Lincoln & Welland Regiment for 28 years, retiring in 2008 as the Regimental Sergeant-Major of the Lincoln & Welland Regiment. Brian was also a proud member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 17, Thorold and a life member of the Veterans of Lansingburgh, Troy, New York. He was a dedicated member of the Niagara Regional Police Service. In addition to an impressive military and police career Brian was the Chief’s Ceremonial Guard Sergeant-Major. The family will receive friends at the HAINE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Sunday 7-9pm and Monday 2-4 & 7-9pm. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 17 will hold a memorial service at the funeral home on Monday at 6:45pm. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, January 10th at 11:00am.
