Ronald J. Lightfoot passed away surrounded by his family, at Hospice Niagara on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at the age of 81. Predeceased by his wife Janet (2011). Ron will be dearly missed by his friends and family including his cousin Dave Hendry, nephew Ronald D. and his wife Leigh, special nieces Suzy and Lianne, brothers and sisters-in-law Jim and Nancy Grant, Richard and Margaret Smith, dear friends Glen and Carol Huffman and many nieces and nephews. Ron was a naval air navigator, Police Sergeant with the Niagara Regional Police and an active member of the Shriners and Masons. He was an avid fisherman and golfer who lived his life to the fullest. Special thanks to the staff at Hospice Niagara for their compassionate care. Donations in memory of Ron, to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated. A graveside ceremony will be held at a later date.
