With profound sadness, the family of John Brkljacic announce his passing at the Welland Hospital on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the age of 85. John is reunited with his wife Anita who passed in 2013. Cherished father of Sandy Henderson and Lynn Sacco (Remo). Remembered with love by his grandchildren Jaime, Cory (Tisha) and Mathew, and great-grandchildren Makayla and Jackson. Also missed by his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his infant son Paul, parents John Sr. and Milka and son-in-law Charlie Henderson. John was a police officer and served the community for many years before retiring from Niagara Regional Police Service in 1989. A private family service was held at J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence, 19 Young Street, Welland on Saturday morning before John was laid to rest in the family plot at Woodlawn Cemetery.
