He was born in Bonneyrigg, Scotland and served in the Royal British Air force as a police dog handler in Cypress. In the late 1950’s he came to western Canada and worked on the oil pipelines. Later he served 29 years on the Niagara Regional Police Force. After retiring he started Scotty’s Pet Taxi plus business of pet grooming and transporting. Throughout, he never let the cancer interfere with his active lifestyle of hunting, fishing, golfing, skiing and showing his prize winning white shepherds. Instead of flowers, donations in his name are requested to the Trillium Unit of the Greater Niagara General Hospital. A Celebration of his life will be announced at a future date for his family and friends to share their stories. He shared everything with those he knew and loved except his remarkable Barbeque Sauce.
