SWANWICK, David Maxim – On Sunday, November 6, 2016 with his cherished daughters at his side, Dad passed into the awaiting embrace of his loving wife and soul mate Shirley (Feb. 2016). With tears in our eyes but smiles in our hearts, we take comfort in knowing Dad and Mom are together in eternal life. Treasured father of Joanne (Darryl) Dobrindt, Carolyn Swanwick (William Rickers) and Sheila Wowk (Anthony Fiorucci). A devoted Grandpa to Amanda (Josh), Greg (Zayna), Paul, Brian (Angela), and Lindsey (Chris). Survived by his sister Audrey Jaques. Predeceased by his brother Jack Wagstaff and best friend and brother-in-law Don Culp. Sheila’s German Shepherd Gryphon will miss his long walks and treats. Dad was a proud police officer, retiring after 37 years of service having achieved the rank of Superintendent. Our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. B. Leonard and nurse Jillian for their compassionate care and support. Dad and Mom’s children and grandchildren will strive to reflect their never ending love. The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL , 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) on Thursday, November 10th from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
