MURRAY, John ‘Jack’ It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jack on Sunday, April 21, 2019 in his 85th year. Beloved husband to Jean for 8 years, step-father to Roger (Maria) Bramhall, Gillian (Glen) Lines and Albert (Vickie) Moreland. Jack is survived by his brothers Lloyd (Betty) and Jerry (Cecile). He will be fondly remembered by his step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his niece Danielle Murray, nephews and friends. Pre-deceased by his wife Joan Murray (2007) and his 8 siblings. His family would like to extend a special ‘Thank You’ to Joyce for her long standing friendship, and loving support over the past many years. Jack proudly reflected on his 28 year military career as a Drill Sergeant Major. He cherished his time and friendships within the Korean Veterans Association and the Royal Canadian Legion. He retired after a 13 year career as a Special Constable with the Niagara Regional Police. In keeping with John’s wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME 905-892-1699. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
