Death of Retired NRPS Officer – (Sgt.) Teasdale ‘Dick’ Colledge

COLLEDGE, Teasdale ‘Richard’ – Retired Niagara Regional Police Sargent born January 13, 1940 passed away April 07th, 2022.

He was proud to say he was a police officer serving this Region for 29 years and of fulfilling a life long dream by obtaining a BA in English from Brock University, after retirement.

His greatest achievement however, he would recite, is his family; wife Carol of over 60 years; children, Catharine (Peter Wells), Christine (Trevor) Cooper and Rick (Tara); grandchildren, Shanyn, Richard, Paul, Pandora, Rachel and Benjamin; great grandchildren, Scarlett and Kali and ‘like sons’ James and Robert. Richard will be sadly missed by his siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

He has now been reunited with parents, his sister Dale and brother Robin.

His family extends a sincere ‘Thank You’ to his PSW Amber and the health care team on 5B at the St.Catharines Hospital.

In keeping with Richard’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his Life will be held at The Salvation Army Citadel (400 Niagara St. St.Catharines) on Thursday April 14th at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Salvation Army – St.Catharines will be appreciated by his family.
