Ladies and Gentlemen,
There has been an ongoing challenge amongst First Responder organizations to produce lip sync videos. The Hamilton Police Service responded to the challenge and provided their rendition of “Whatever it takes!” I am biased but I think this is extremely well done.
There have been several postings through Facebook. If your active organization has participated I wold really like to share with the rest of the affiliate members.

John passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 3:22 a.m. at home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Welland, ON, in 1947 and was the son of the late John and Helen (nee Gondek) Kopinak, with his life ending in Chatham-Kent in his beloved community of Mitchell’s Bay.
John was married to his wife Beverley (nee Taylor), the love of his life for fifty years. He is survived by his children, son John Kopinak (Karri) of Wheatley, ON and daughter Kelly Calvert (Tyler) of Calgary, Alberta. He was the proud grandfather to Emma, Erin and Allison Kopinak, his beautiful granddaughters.

On Tuesday July 24, 2018, Ronald (Ron) Alvey passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by friends and family. He worked with his family at Long Beach cottages and Dance Hall, then Reliance Electric until its closing. He then joined the Niagara Regional Police Services until his retirement in 1990. He then became a member of the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club to keep with his love of riding. He also looked forward to fishing and hunting and Toonie Tuesday with “the boys”.
He is survived by his wife Marie-Anne, son Peter (Kerry Leney), grandchildren Kaileigh and Perrin, his brother Keith (Jane) of Kingston, his sister Betty-Anne (Ed Zabel) of Williamsville and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held on Saturday August 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. James and St. Brendan’s Anglican Church, 55 Charlotte Street, Port Colborne. Donations may be made to the Cancer Society or the Bless the City Fund.
