Passed away suddenly at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Friday April 5, 2019 at the age of 39. Beloved wife of Derrick Wells and his daughter Kahlea. Cherished daughter of Neil and Linda Klop and daughter-in-law of Francis and Carolyn Wells. Loving sister of Josh Klop (Leanne) and sister-in-law of Patrick Wells (Ann-Marie). Karen will be greatly missed by her loving dog Zander. Karen was a 911 dispatcher with the Niagara Regional Police Service and a member of “The Friends of the Carousel”. She was a strong woman who loved life. Karen enjoyed being with nature, especially camping. Karen’s genuine love of animals was notable and admirable (Dudley). Karen loved listening to music and having fun with her family and friends. She loved her life despite the challenges she faced with a diagnosis of Lupus at the age of 18. Karen had a strong love of family and friends, for they are what made her the happiest. She will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
